Hi! My name is Elena Tamba, and I’m the Civic Engagement Fellow for SGB. I’m a first-year Computer Science major. I’m passionate about using my time to get involved in projects that make a difference, whether it’s through writing, technology, or community initiatives. In my role, I’m excited to help increase student involvement and encourage others to engage with issues that impact our campus and beyond. Before coming to Pitt, I worked in different roles where I saw how important it is to build community and support one another. I hope to use those experiences to create opportunities for students to connect, advocate, and create positive change.
