Chukwudalu Dumebi-Kachikwu (All4One | One4All)

All4One | One4All – A Smarter, More Engaged, More Inclusive Pitt!

Hi! My name is Chukwudalu Dumebi-Kachikwu, and I’m a freshman Computer Science major with a passion for innovation, accessibility, and student-driven change. I believe Pitt should work for all students, not just some, and I’m running for Student Government Board to make that vision a reality.

I serve as:
Sutherland Hall President – Improving dorm conditions, planning student events (trick or treat, ping pong tournaments, etc.), advocating for infrastructure improvements, pushing for staff recognition with gifts and acknowledgment, and securing FREE streaming for the entire dorm.
Research Assistant (AI & Education Equity) – Exploring how AI and Culturally Relevant Pedagogy (CRP) can improve education for Black girls and future educators.
National Society of Black Engineers Freshman Representative (Admin Zone) – Connecting Black STEM students to career and leadership opportunities.
Board Member of the SGB DEI Committee – Working to expand equity, inclusion, and student resources on campus, providing thousands of dollars to organizations' events and programs to help make them successful.
Co-Founder of Fresh4Less – A startup to make healthy, diverse food more affordable and accessible.
Back-End Developer and Board Member for Tech4Good – A student-run organization focused on making tech more responsible, from building machine learning models to explore social media censorship to performing cybersecurity red-teaming events to test AI safety measures.
Back-End Developer for GreenPath – A student-run startup to make student housing  sustainable and cost-effective.

From my leadership roles to my research and startup work, I’ve dedicated myself to solving real problems for students. Now, I want to bring that same problem-solving mindset to SGB and ensure Pitt is smarter, more engaged, and more accessible for everyone.

I’m currently working on four major initiatives to improve Pitt.

1️. Revolutionizing Pitt’s E-Services – Smarter, Faster, Easier

QR-Based Study Room Booking – Scan a QR code at an empty study room to book it instantly, eliminating unnecessary website navigation.
One App for All Ticketing – A single platform for buying tickets (resale included) for student org events, sports games, and concerts.
Better Bus Tracking – Improve the accuracy and reliability of Pitt’s transit tracking so students don’t have to work with faulty bus arrival times.
AI-Powered Campus Assistant – A chatbot for quick answers on bus schedules, dining hours, club events, and study room availability.
Club Funding Transparency Dashboard – Ensure student org budgets, approvals, and allocations are easily trackable.
Add Panther Cards to Digital Wallets – Enable Apple Wallet & Google Pay integration for easier campus transactions.                                                                                                       Build a Pitt Events Website – A central hub where students can find all campus events in one place.

2️. Exploding Student Engagement – More Opportunities, More Support, More Fun

Fund Student Projects & Startups – Expand funding for student businesses, technical projects, and creative ventures (from engineering projects to hair salons!).
Strengthen Recreational Sports – More resources, tournaments, and attention for club sports & intramurals.
Expand Skill-Building & Career Development – Help clubs sponsor workshops, hackathons, networking events, and internships.
Monthly Student-Admin Town Halls – Give students direct access to university leadership to voice concerns & drive change.
Legal Aid for Student Activists – Provide free legal assistance for students facing disciplinary actions related to activism.
Protect Free Speech & Protest Rights – Ensure clear policies so students can safely engage in activism without fear of retaliation.
Monthly SGB Press Conferences – Publish regular reports on SGB actions via Instagram, YouTube, and student media.

3️. Pushing DEIA to New Horizons – A Pitt Where Everyone Belongs

Codify Protections for Student Orgs – Ensure cultural and identity-based student orgs receive institutional backing and fair treatment.
Strengthen Cultural Club Collaborations – Foster joint programming, networking, and events between identity-based student orgs.
Jubilee-Style Campus Conversations – Safe spaces for honest, student-led discussions about race, gender, and identity.
DEIA Project Funding & Mentorship – Clear pathways for students working on DEIA-focused projects to access funding and guidance.
Create a Rotating Advisory Committee – A monthly-changing student panel to provide diverse perspectives on campus policies.
More Affinity Spaces – Expand dedicated spaces where students from shared backgrounds can connect and build community.

4️. Improving Pitt’s Infrastructure – A Campus That Works for You

Cleaner Water – More filtered drinking stations across campus.
Better Dining Services – Improve food quality, variety, and meal plan flexibility.
Room Temperature Regulation – Fix extreme classroom & dorm temperatures.
Lower Miscellaneous Costs – Like Pitt ID replacement fees.
More Noise-Canceling Study Spaces – Expand soundproofed library and dorm study areas.
Affordable Parking Passes – Create tiered pricing options for student parking.

So Why Vote for Me?

Besides all the points above… the one thing I can promise you is

If something isn’t possible.

We’ll make it possible.

Because that's what we do at Pitt.
