The Undergraduate Conference Fund is a way for SGB to award grants of up to $250 to support undergraduate non-CGS students who are invited to present their research at a conference.
Application Requirements:
- Must be an undergraduate, non-CGS University of Pittsburgh – Pittsburgh Campus student.
- If you are a CGS student, apply here via CGSSG
- Have been invited to present their research at a conference
- Have not received an SGB Conference Grant within the fiscal year, or have been awarded more than two SGB Conference Grants within their tenure at the University of Pittsburgh
Eligible Expenses:
- Registration fees
- Lodging
- Transportation (not including travel upgrades and meals)
Approval is required before attending the conference. All funds shall be reimbursed after attending. The applicant shall submit a reimbursement form to the SORC office within 10 days of the end of the conference.
Preference is given to those who do not have alternative sources of funding, though all eligible applicants are considered.
