Shared Governance Appointments

The Student Government Board is invited to put undergraduate student representatives on various committees throughout the University. Please reach out to sgb@pitt.edu with any questions about any of these committees, or reach out to the representatives on the committees for more specific inquiries.

Board of Trustees Committees

The Board of Trustees oversees most of the University’s core functions. Many of these meetings are confidential, so, while the details of these meetings cannot be shared with people outside of the committee, student representatives can speak in these meetings, so feel free to reach out to our representatives on each of these committees if you’d like them to pass along!

The University Senate is the official body for shared governance between different stakeholders within the University, including faculty, staff, administrative officers, the Board of Trustees, and students.
