Jaydep Halder

Hi! My name is Jaydep and I am the Facilities, Transportation, and Technology Chair of Pitt’s Student Government Board. Representing the voices of students and faculty is an issue I am extremely passionate about, so I am super excited to have this position for the 2022-2023 academic year. I became involved with SGB as a freshman by joining the First Year Council, the FT&T Committee, and the CGR Committee. This year, I want to play an even larger role and cannot wait to see all that SGB can accomplish. Other clubs I am involved in include AMSA, SOOS, and Friends of MSF at Pitt. I also conduct microbiology research in the School of Public Health and serve as a volunteer at UPMC Shadyside hospital.
