Committee Member

Krithika Pennathur

Hello! My name is Krithika Pennathur and I’m a D&I committee member. I have lived in Pittsburgh since I was 7 years old, growing up in Southside. On campus, I founded and am currently serving as president for Pitt Unmuted and as volunteer coordinator for Pitt Girl Up. I also served on the Sexual Assault Awareness Month Planning Committee & Women’s Empowerment Week Planning Committee this past year. Outside of campus, I volunteer with Planned Parenthood, Magee Women’s Hospital, and Children’s Hospital. I am passionate about storytelling, dance (I’m formally trained in 4 styles!), social justice, and writing. My dream is to get my MPH and doctorate in Health Policy & Management. Also, the keys to my heart are coffee and ice cream. If you have any questions or want to talk about anything, please feel free to reach out to me at!
