Designation:

President

Danielle Floyd

My name is Danielle Floyd, and I am humbled and excited to serve as the President of Pitt Student Government Board this year! I am a senior majoring in Economics and Sociology on a pre-law track. This will be my fourth year of involvement in SGB, where I have loved listening to and learning from our diverse group of students as a member of the First-Year Council, the Wellness Committee Chair, and last year as Vice President of Initiatives. Outside of SGB, I was a 21–22 Elise Hillman Honors Scholar via the Institute of Politics, where I interned for an organization called Steel Smiling. During my free time, you can typically find me somewhere outdoors with my laptop in front of the WPU or exploring the city of Pittsburgh. My goal is to ensure that SGB is actively communicating with all students to truly meet students where they are and meet our campus’s needs. I am here because I want to help better YOUR Pitt experience! So please feel free to email me (dnf7@pitt.edu) or stop by the SGB Office (WPU 848).
