Meredith Mavero
Empowering students to find their own path of civic engagement has been a passion of mine for years, and I have learned so much from the students and colleagues that I have worked with in my 10 years at Pitt. I currently serve as the Institute of Politics, Elsie Hillman Civic Forum’s manager of student programs and community outreach where I manage the student civic engagement programs and the community partnerships of the Elsie Forum. Students who are passionate about policy, community organizing, community-engaged learning, and philanthropy can talk with me about some opportunities to become involved in the southwestern PA region and beyond.
