In an attempt to ensure that student leaders -- namely, the most impacted or interested students -- are in the rooms where decisions about them are being made, Student Government Board is introducing a Student Leader Database. The SLD will consist of data gathered via surveys from students who have self-selected to be included in the database. Administrators and SGB officials will be able to utilize the database to diversify and broaden the pool of students being asked to serve on University task forces, committees, and working groups, giving both over-tapped student leaders more space to focus on their existing work and giving under-tapped students the opportunity to be in the rooms where decisions are being made.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to add their name to the database, but please note that adding your name does not necessarily mean that you will be selected to serve, but that you will be considered for future opportunities. Interested student leaders can add their names to the database here:
