Panther Program of the Month

The Panther Program of the Month Award was designed to recognize non-CGS undergraduate Pitt student organizations for the hard work and dedication they put into organizing different programs and events here on campus. We want to recognize not only their passion and creativity, but also their ability to reach as many Pitt students as possible.

Criteria for Panther Program of the Month

  • The Program must have been held on University of Pittsburgh – Pittsburgh’s Campus and organized by a SORC-certified organization (if a collaborative event, all must be SORC-certified to apply). Programs may be considered for the award based on peer-nomination or self-nomination. The winner will be picked at the SGB Student Assembly meeting and announced monthly.

Prize

  • The prize for being chosen includes marketing of the student organization(s) who held the event via the Student Affairs screens (including how to get involved in said org. and when their next event is), as well as a $50 Sodexo catering food donation credit for your next meeting or event.
