Executive Vice President
Greetings! My name is Zuri Kent-Smith, and I am a junior at Pitt. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and came to Pitt for the great opportunities that exist in every program. This summer, I will be participating in the Summer Public Health Scholars Program at Columbia University. In the future, I hope to work in government and politics as a policymaker, specifically for healthcare policy, and potentially run for office. I’m heavily involved on campus, currently serving as a Resident Assistant in Sutherland West and interning through the Institute of Politics, and previously serving as a Biology Teaching Assistant, Vice President of the RISE Mentoring Program, and PantherWELL Peer Educator.
My goal as Student Government Board Executive Vice President is to make student government and administration more accessible to students while also engaging and integrating more students into the greater Pitt and Pittsburgh community. I’m always available to talk to any student and receive any feedback or hear any experiences that will improve the University of Pittsburgh. I look forward to serving as your Executive Vice President and, as always, hail to Pitt!
