Tabitha Barnes

Hey! My name is Tabitha Barnes and I am a junior majoring in Communication and Rhetoric with minors in Political Science, Spanish and Portuguese. I am from outside DC in Northern Virginia (North Springfield to be exact). I have three siblings, and I love art of every kind! This past year I was an RA in Sutherland Hall’s First-Year Honors Living Learning Community. For two terms I served as an executive board member of the Climate Stewardship Society, a student organization devoted to Climate Change advocacy and education. I am also a Pitt Arts Encounter Host, and love taking students to shows around the city of Pittsburgh. My involvement in SGB includes 2 years on the Elections Committee, one as events coordinator and one as executive vice chair! I am very excited to be taking on the role of D&I Chair this year, and invite anyone to contact me at!
