Hi, my name is Sana Mahmood and I’m a senior at Pitt! I’m originally from Long Island, New York but spend just as much of my free time in Manhattan or with my sisters in Philly. My dreams for the future include becoming a doctor, a fashion designer, and a curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (all in one lifetime) so I’ve definitely got my work cut out for me. I am a founding member as well as the current President of Pitt’s art club, ARTificial. I can also be found TA-ing for Genetics and Intro to Modern Art classes as well as volunteering at the Carnegie Museum of Art just next door to us — all while trying to dress my absolute best.
I am excited to work as Student Government Board’s Communications Director! I’m also eager to hear what you, as a student body, want to see from SGB this year. I love exploring the food, drink, art, and coffee culture this city is teeming with, so I encourage you to reach out if you ever want to join me and chat about how to make this campus even better than it already is!
