Nithya Achanta

Hi! I’m Nithya Achanta (she/her) and I’m originally from Memphis, TN. I’m currently a junior finance major in the College of Business Administration. Seminar in Composition was my favorite class that I’ve taken at Pitt so far. My favorite TV shows are Suits and Gossip Girl, and my favorite movies are the Harry Potter series. In my free time, I love taking walks around campus and baking with my roommates.

Laura Alcock

I grew up in Upstate New York in a rural community with my parents and my older brother who works as a marketing analyst. I am a senior at the University of Pittsburgh Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. I graduated high school with my associate’s degree so I am quite a bit ahead. I plan to go on to law school after undergraduate to study constitutional law. This past summer I studied abroad in London and completed a wrongful conviction program.
