Ron Idoko

My Pitt career has been one centered around a deep passion for civic engagement and this coalition represents a transcendent opportunity to play an integral role in the advancement of civic growth on campus at a time where civic-mindedness has become a heightened priority in the University community and beyond. Throughout my professional experience, I have made it a point to find the most innovative and practical methods of engaging my constituents. In my current role as the Diversity and Multicultural Programs Manager in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), I have been afforded a platform to exercise strategic and programmatic leadership to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion as institutional components of social, academic and intellectual life at the University. As an instructor in the Public Service program, I facilitate interactive, seminar-styled courses that discuss the tenets of our domestic public policy process and address issues of diversity apparent within the public service sector.
