The Student Government Board is excited to offer students the opportunity for a free 20-minute legal consultation! The attorneys will provide initial advice regarding a particular legal issue or question. Additional legal resources for students can also be found below.

Please be advised that you are receiving legal advice from the Attorney, who is an independent contractor. This means that the University of Pittsburgh, the Division of Student Affairs, the Office of Student Life, the Student Government Board and their agents are not responsible for any advice given to you. Such advice is given solely by the Attorney, who is not an agent, employee or representative of the University of Pittsburgh and its agents. You will receive one twenty-minute private consultation with the Attorney. You are advised that this initial consultation with the Attorney is offered to you at no cost. Any further consultation or advice needed may be arranged between you and the Attorney at the Attorney’s option. You are further advised that the Attorney may not represent you in any claim or action against the University of Pittsburgh, or any subdivision or affiliate thereof, or any agency or agent thereof. The Attorney also may not represent you in any claim, action or matter in which the University of Pittsburgh is a party or has a legal interest.
