Student Legal Services

SGB holds free 20 minute legal consultations for students every Thursdays.

New York Times Readership Program

As part of the Student Government Board's New York Times Readership Program, every undergraduate student has the opportunity to subscribe to the New York Times, free of charge.

Undergraduate Conference Fund

The undergraduate conference fund for research is a way for SGB to award grants of up to $250 to support undergraduate non-CGS students who are invited to present their research at a conference

Traditions Fund

The Traditions Fund provides a route to request funding for large events on campus, including campus-wide events that may not have been able to be funded previously.

Service Fund

The Service Fund provides a route for registered service organizations to request funding, including for service projects that may not have been able to be funded previously.

New Initiatives/Impactful Experiences Fund

The New Initiatives/Impactful Experiences Fund provides a way for student organizations to request funding for new initiatives they are undertaking. 

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Grant

The purpose of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee’s grant is to promote events that further the diversity and inclusion within student organizations and improve campus climate.

Storage & Office Space

SGB offers storage space in the O’Hara Student Center and William Pitt Union to help student groups accomplish their mission. Storage space lasts from the beginning of the academic year through the summer.

Civic Advising Program

SGB collaborates with the Office of PittServes on their Civic and Community Advising program. Their mission is to empower students' exploration of the civic pathways through educational and civic opportunities on and off campus in partnership with university community partners, stakeholders, student leadership organizations, and faculty and staff.
